Takarazuka: Press Released about Works at New Tokyo Takarazuka Theater(4/26)

The new Tokyo Takarazuka Theater will be open on Jan. 1, 2001, so brief description of the opening performances are press-released. They are performed by Moon Troupe, and one is a Japanese show "Ima Sumire Saku" [Now, Violets Bloom] (book and staged by UEDA Shinji) and another is a western revue "Bara no Kishi" [A Knight of Rose] (book and staged by KIMURA Shinji).

Ticket Sale Channel Spreads: Bow Hall Performance

From May 15, the first day that "Romeo and Juliet '99" tickets will be sold, you can buy tickets of Bow Hall performance at various ticket dealers such as Ticket Pia, Ticket Saison, CN Playguide, and Lawson Ticket.

"Endless Love" Schedule Shortened

Last day of "Endless Love" at Nihon Seinenkan, Tokyo was changed from July 4 to June 30. Its book was very poor when it was performed at Takarazuka Bow Hall last October. Naturally the book will be changed.

KOHZUKI Noboru Die !(3/25)

KOHZUKI Noboru (called "Gonchan"), who was a male-role top star of TakarazukaRevue Company, died with cancer.

She was in Takarazuka from year 1960 to 1970. After she resigned Takarazuka, she appeared in many musical plays, such as "42ND STREET", "Fiddler on the Roof", "A Man of La Mancha", "Annie", "Zorba", and so on.

Takarazuka: KAZAHANA Mai Resign (2/7)

KAZAHANA Mai, who is a female role top star of Moon Troupe and a wonderful dancer, resigned today. Her next schedule is Anne of "La Cage aux folles" at Theater Hiten in April.

MAYA Miki Resign !(10/5)

Resigners' parades were performed in the lobby of 1000days theater, who are NATSUHO Akira, SAKURAGI Emi, SHINO Yuka, SEN Hosachi, and MAYA Miki.

It was first resign of a top star at the 1000days theater, so someone was worried about how the parade was performed because the space in front of the theater is very narrow. But a new idea, which resigners' fan club members and some other fans are aligned in the lobby, went well. Only one disadvantage is that it costs time for the people to go in and out.

SEN Hosachi Resign ! (8/4)

The female-role top star of Flower Troupe, "SEN Hosachi " will resign on next performance "SPEAKEASY" "SNIPER" simultaneously with MAYA Miki. The press conference will be done tomorrow, August 5.

KAZAHANA Mai Resign ! (5/25)

The female-role top star of Moon Troupe, "KAZAHANA Mai " will resign on next Feburuary.

ASAJI Saki Resign ! (4/9)

It is revealed that a top star "ASAJI Saki" of Star Troupe will resign on the last day of the next performance at 1000days Theater. It will be performed as follows:

Sora is spelled in Kanji character as "Chu-" of "Uchu-" (in English, "the universe", "the cosmos", or "space"). First performance of "Sora-Gumi" is as follows:
1998/1 Hong-Kong, 3/27-5/11 Takarazuka Grand Theatre, and July-August Tokyo. And the performances are staged by OKADA Keiji and KOIKE Shuichiro.

New Theater "Hakata-za" Open in 1999

"Hakata-za" will be opened at Hakata (in Kyushu Island) in 1999. Takarazuka Revue Company will perform once in a year.

TAKANE Fubuki, the top star of Takarazuka Revue Company Snow Troupe, will resign this July. Her term as a top star is shortest: only two works (11 months). Her last performance is at Tokyo Takarazuka Theater on July. What does the company think?
