History

OSK Japan Revue Company was organized as a musical section of Shochiku in April 1922 and grew up by revue works, such as "Haru no Odori" (Dance in Spring).

But the company lost popularity along with the decline of revue, so the comapny adopted musical plays from 1987. It is changing !

Now, Kintetsu Railways Company is a stockholder, so OSK performs many plays at Ayame-ike amphitheater, where is in the neighborhood of Ayame-ike station of Kintetsu Nara Line.

But, Kintetsu revealed that it will NOT give money for OSK to keep it alive after May 2003, so I'm afraid that OSK will not exist. How much time is it needed to make a theatrical company for the same level of OSK ? How many people is it needed ? Ummm... Unbelievable! I hope new sponcer will be found.
